Selene is a sleep and meditation app made for women in perimenopause and menopause — the 3am wake-up, the racing mind, the heat that pulls you from rest. You're not broken. You're transitioning.
Research with over 50 women told us the same thing: understanding comes first, then connection, then rest. Selene is built around that order.
Science-backed articles written in plain language — not clinical, not alarming. Why your sleep changed, what your hormones are doing, and what actually helps.
A community of women at every stage of the journey. Topic boards for sleep, symptoms, treatments, and recommendations. Real conversations, not a scrolling feed.
Guided meditations, breathing exercises, and body scans designed specifically for the 3am wake-up. Human voices. No AI. No generic wellness.
Every guided session is built around a specific feeling — can't sleep, hot and restless, racing mind, or leaning into the quiet hours. You choose what you need tonight.
Women told us they needed to understand what was happening before they could relax about it. Selene's articles explain the science behind your sleep — why it changed, what's driving it, and what works.
A space for women to share what's working, ask what they're afraid to ask their doctor, and find the podcast, supplement or approach that changed things for someone exactly like them.
You don't need to fix anything tonight. You just need to rest.
Selene · in-app voiceSelene was built by Joaquin and Lizzie — co-founders of Yoga Wake Up, with over 500 guided audio sessions between them. Lizzie is going through perimenopause herself and found that sleep had become something she could no longer take for granted.
The app grew out of a research group of 55 women who helped shape every decision — what to build, what to say, and what not to bother with. Their voices are in everything here.
"I built Selene because I wished something like it had existed when I needed it most. Every session here is made with that 2am moment in mind."
